Athletes should wear athletic clothing that is easy to move in. Shoes are optional. All the necessary equipment will be provided. Bring a water bottle for water breaks.
Come join us for the Miracle Movers martial arts classes! Instructors Aaron & Jackson Hurwitz are both First Degree Black Belts in Taekwondo at The Way Martial Arts. Classes include exercises involving hand eye coordination, stretching, listening to commands, hand techniques, foot techniques, self defense, and board breaking. Each week the Athletes will have a Mat Chat with the Instructors about the topic of the week. Topics include: Leadership, Strength, Commitment, Knowledge, and Respect.
Athletes will work with a buddy (can be a family member or volunteer) that is 12 years old or older. Both athletes and volunteers/buddies will need to register.
$25 cost per athlete (need based scholarships available – click HERE for application).
Recommended for ages 5-21.
